The ohio health registry is a project of FaCT, a nongovernmental organization that has been designated by the irs as a 501c3 public charity.
it is not affiliated with any government entity.

The Ohio Health Registry helps to document the impacts
of shale development on the health of persons living and working
near shale operations and infrastructure.

Individuals, families, and entire communities in Ohio are being increasingly exposed to health hazards created by the development of shale. Unconventional drilling of shale involves heavy industrial processes and infrastructure that cause serious air, water, and soil contamination with carcinogens, nervous system toxins, endocrine disruptors, cardiovascular toxins, and skin and other tissue irritants.
